PERMISSION TO CONTACT
By registering for this event, you grant the WaterJet Technology Association (WJTA) permission to contact you regarding your registration, event arrangements, event updates, and any other communications pertaining to the event.
USE OF LIKENESS
By attending the WJTA Conference and/or Expo, the Participant grants the WJTA the unrestricted and uncompensated right to record, film, photograph, or capture the Participant’s likeness in any media now available or hereafter developed and to distribute, broadcast, use, or otherwise disseminate such media.
ATTENDEE BADGE USAGE
Official Name Badges are required to be worn by all Participants at all Event functions and in all Event areas.
PROHIBITED CONDUCT
Photographic equipment is not banned from the exhibit hall; however, photographing, filming, recording, or otherwise capturing the inner workings, mechanics, or integral components of specific displays or pieces of equipment is prohibited without permission of the exhibiting company.
CANCELLATION
Fees will be refunded in full for cancellations received at least three (3) weeks prior to the Event. No refund will be made for cancellations received less than 3 weeks prior to the Event. However, substitutions may be made at any time. Refunds will not be processed until after the Event.
NO SUITCASING/OUTBOARDING POLICY
Suitcasing is a practice wherein companies gain access to an event as an attendee and solicit business or distribute promotional materials in aisles or public areas. Suitcasing is prohibited at the Event; Event attendees may not solicit business in aisles, public spaces, or an unaffiliated exhibitor’s booth.
Attendees soliciting business or distributing promotional materials will be expelled from the Event at the discretion of show management. Additional penalties may be applied.
Outboarding is the practice wherein Participants (both Attendees and Exhibitors) hold promotional events during Event hours, including but not limited to receptions, hospitality suites, sponsored networking activities, product launches, etc., and is prohibited at the Event. Promotional events may be allowed outside of official Event hours. Promotional events which could be in competition with official Event activities require prior approval of the WJTA Board of Directors. Participants planning to hold events in conjunction with the Event should contact the WJTA administrative office to ensure they are in compliance.
EXPULSION
WJTA reserves the right to prevent Participants from entering the Event or to remove Participants from the Event at its sole discretion for any reason including, but not limited to, violating any of the rules related to the event or otherwise engaging in behavior that is disruptive, unsafe, or hinders the ability of other Participants to enjoy the Event. All Name Badges shall be returned to show management upon request.
PERSONAL DATA
Personal data, such as names and postal or email addresses, is saved only when this information is given voluntarily, e.g., as part of the registration or form submission. Personal data is used only to the extent necessary and only for legally permissible purposes for which consent can be granted. Personal data can be updated at any time by logging in to the WJTA website (www.wjta.org) or contacting the WJTA office.
SAFETY, HEALTH AND HYGIENE
All participants must comply show rules and facility requirements with regards to safety, hygiene and infectious disease. Specific safety protocols will be communicated to attendees in advance of the event based on facility requirements, local regulations, federal guidelines and convention industry best practices.
