Funded by the Horizon 2020 programme, via the SME Instrument, Tube Tech International has developed its patented Shell Side Jet solution, which is one of the first ever guaranteed technologies to remove fouling between the tubes on the shell side of shell and tube exchangers.

Shell Side Jet can be deployed within two hours upon arrival, and whilst operated by two people, the system is smart enough to complete the cleaning on its own. At the end of the clean, detailed digital reports and photos are generated.

The system features an advanced lance system which penetrates between 6mm tube rows and detects blockages, broken tubes and incorrectly positioned baffles, delivering a precise and intuitive clean. Water consumption is dramatically reduced compared to traditional methods, from approximately 100gpm to as little as 2gpm, generating significantly less waste.

Shell Side Jet achieves near 100% clean resulting in reduced CO₂ emissions, increased productivity and a potential significant return on investment.
